Destan (English: Epic) is a Turkish historical and fictional television series signed by BozdaÄŸ Film and its first episode premiered on November 23, 2021, directed by Emir Khalilzadeh and written by Nehir Erdem and AyÅŸe Ferda Erilmaz. Ebru Shahin, Oedipus Tepeli and Selim Bayraktar star in the series. The series is created as fiction, inspired by several epics, not historical reality.
The supervisor of this series is the head of the history department of Yeditepe University Prof. Dr , Dokuz Aylul University, head of the Turkish Institute of General History, Prof. Dr. Erkan Goksu.
